Below is an extract from Rachels latest Newsletter.  Rachel has visited St Kenelms, Clifton on, at least two occasions, to speak during our COME and Praise Service about her work for Trans World Radio. It is the world’s most far reaching Christian Radio Network and if you wish to learn more about it their website is:

Extract:  This newsletter focuses on a recent trip to Albania.
‘Between 31st August and 6th September I joined a group of ladies from Norway who support TWR’s women’s ministry, Project Hannah, in Albania. We visited as number of prayer groups and other
ministry activities around the country. The lives of women in Albania are often far from easy, poverty and domestic violence are very prevalent both in towns and in the countryside.  It is the Roma women in  Albania who often face the greatest struggles in daily life.

The ladies from Norway shared songs, Bible teaching and small gifts with the women. I myself was greatly encouraged by the servant attitude of my fellow travellers and the love they showed to those we met.’

Rachel is based in Vienna but has to raise all her own funding.
