Martley: St Peter

St Peter, Martley

St Peter’s church, Martley

St Peter’s Church, Martley is the central church of the Martley team. It has a morning service every Sunday, usually at 10:30 except for the 4th Sunday, when there is both a service at 9:30 in the morning and at 6:30 in the evening.

There are also events in the middle of the week, such as Messy Church and a homegroup. The church also is actively involved in the community-wide group, Martley Amateur Dramatics, which puts on events such as the annual pantomime.

The Martley team also includes St Laurence in Wichenford and the three churches of the Lower Teme Valley parish – Broadwas, Knightwick and Cotheridge. It is of great benefit to all of the parishes to be linked in this way, which means that resources can be pooled, and ministries which take place in one parish also serve those in the other parishes.
