Alfrick & Lulsley: St Mary Magdelene

The church in Alfrick is part of a lively village community, which is closely connected to the neighbouring villages of Lulsley and Alfrick Pound. Most of the building dates from the 12th to the 15th centuries.

Alfrick Church enjoys a variety of services every month, which suits it well.  There is a BCP communion service, a BCP Evensong, an All Age service and a Common Worship communion – see the list on this page for the details.

For about 800 years St Mary’s has been the centre of Christian worship in Alfrick.  Like Lulsley it was a chapelry of the ancient parish of Suckley until 1912 when it became a separate benefice. Read more…
