Shelsley Walsh: St Andrews

St Andrews, Shelsley Walsh

St Andrews, Shelsley Walsh

St Andrew’s Church in Shelsley Walsh is an architectural gem, located close to a very scenic part of the River Teme. It is adjacent to Britain’s oldest motor racing event, the Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb (http://www.shelsley-walsh.co.uk/), which began in 1905 – in fact, each hill climb begins with a service in the church. The church’s future has been safeguarded by being registered as a charity in 1981. There is a Sunday service at 10am once every two weeks (alternating with Shelsley Beauchamp), as listed on this page.
